hey guys and gals,

looking to add to my lens collection and wondered what lens people would recommend for landscape photos? i currently have the sigma 10-20mm which is excellent but dont know what others would be good to add?

currently i only do landscape and have intention to change to other type of photography.

i can go upto £800.

any views?

I'm on my iPhone so I cant see your camera model, otherwise I would suggest lenses. But I would look for something a little less wide, like 17-40 or 16-35. But you could even take a look at a telephoto lens for landscapes, like a 70-200. There's no restriction as to what is a landscape lens.

10-20 is the best id say on a crop body.... just invest in some filters.

or save a bit more and get a tilt and shift Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L 17

if you want something wide but larger focal lenght then the Canon 17-40 f4 L is great lens or if you have the money the Canon 16-35 f2.8 L which are both great lens and and the full frame versions of the singma 10-20 f4.5-5 and f3.5

Obviously it's a personal thing but I find that despite owning an UWA similiar to your Sigma I only use it for a small % of my landscape shots - I find the range of my 17-70 suits me better, a prime is worth thinking about too maybe around 30/35mm, it would also work well if you move into portraits etc
