I know there is stuff out there on the above subject, I'm just wondering if anyone here has noticed a worthwhile difference in traffic to their websites by changing to having visitors arrive on a landing page first rather than your homepage .
I've not made a web page for a business for a number of years, I don't have a problem using WordPress etc. Reason I ask is I have been asked to update a small business site as the current (which i created) one is about 5 yrs old and I'm wondering if I should go the landing page route or stick to having folk arrive at the homepage first . The old site which I did for them currently sits 4th from the top on Google' 1st page after the paid for adverts when using a popular local search phrase, i must have done something right back then as content rarely changes.
