HI guys and girls.

Been reading this forum for a while now and just decided i would join as i got my camera at the weekend.

Got a canon 1000d with 18-55 and 70-300 lenses.

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I'm from Scotland (down near Loch Lomond) and have the Canon 1000D as well :D
 
Gidday from another newbie just down the road from you (Kirkfieldbank). :wave:Although I went with the other side of the force and picked up a Nikon about 6 weeks ago. I'll also admit to reading a lot more on this site than posting right now, as there's a mountain of good stuff already here - it's almost intimidating!

Hello to you Martin, and welcome to TP I am sure you will love the this place as all are so helpfull and friendly nothing is too much trouble for most and we all started out basicaly the same way here.

I am still strugling to get the hang of this and up loading photo's and stuff but hang in there and enjoy the ride. I aint that far away iether Larkhall not by choice may I add and I also use the Canon eos 1000d.

I'm a newbie to the whole DSLR scene and I'm finding it just about the right level for me just now. Really easy menu system and access to all the wonderful Canon lenses makes me glad I chose it over a Nikon or Sony.
