Hi all,
great forum, have learnt a lot from this site but a have a little dilemma.

For my sins, I have been given the task at setting up a video and photo area indoors at my daughters wedding. Now as I'm not sure what the lighting will be like I was looking at light/umbrella stands but as the wedding has a 1920's 1930's theme I didn't want them to stick out so I have instead bought a large vintage style spot lamp that takes an ES bulb.

It's not meant to be too professional, I will have backgrounds, but just somewhere people can have fun and take photo's and video. What I would like to know is whether there is a certain type of bulb I could use that would give a good light for this sort of activity,

thanks,

Phil

What's the venue lit with? Balanced bulb to that, so then the camera's white balance can work correctly, is likely your best bet.

Also, probably need it brighter than you think... one 60w ES is going to be challenging potentially. (especially given I'm not sure you can get 100w bulbs anymore?)
