A friend who is a primary school teacher has asked me to take some pics of specific subjects for her to use as teaching aids with her class. As I like a new photographic challenge, I have produced the images for her, added captions in Elements and she's very happy with them. However, before I print them off (32 images) thought I'd ask you guys .... She is planning to laminate them so her kids can handle them.

I'm planning to use a standard matt photo paper and an Epson Photostylus printer. Will the lamination process damage the printing at all and if so, is there anything I can do to protect the pics so they look ok once encased in plastic.

(PS ... My spell checker just changed laminate to marinate ... Never marinated a photo ....! Lol ..)

Thanks for any advice.

Hi, As long as they are dry ( I give approx 24 hrs just to be on the safe side) should be no problem.

I've done lots of laminating of photos and not had any problems with them. As Russell said, leave them to dry completely but I've done some almost literally printer to laminator and they've been OK.
