I don't make many prints off my photos as I tend to view them on the pc more than anything. However, I have recently wanted to get a few prints (10x8's / 12x8's or similar) made of a couple of photos to put in a frame and put around the house. I wont be printing all that many, or that often, so don't really want to start setting up to print them myself.

Who do you use for 'top quality' prints? Anyone have any strong recomendations for me? In the old film days I used to use Colab for all of my processing and printing and always found their quality to be excellent, has anyone used them for digital prints lately?

I've used colab many times

I've only ever had 1 problem and that was a missing print from a batch, they had it sent out to me with next day delivery.

Quality is always spot on along with colour matching.

I really can't remember the last time I bothered to print at home

Well I used Colab and they were spot on again, and delivered in 48 hours!

I do like using LeeP at Togsprint.

Have not used the others and have no reason to happy with the service communication and quality from Lee.

I've been using DS Colour Labs, but when I received an order from them this morning, I got a letter from them asking me not to include mixed paper types in the same order, as it causes mistakes and delays! (Hardly my fault!)

Also, I use a Mac, so use option 2 to order my pics. Also with my order, I received a leaflet telling me the system that I currently use 'will end soon', so I should use option 1 when ordering. Option 1 doesn't work with Macs!

Needless to say, I'm awaiting a reply from them!

Had no problems before today, but now I'm faced with 2 problems which could force me to go elsewhere...
