It just doesn't appear very obvious why you would fit a bulky accessory onto the grip pretty much disabling it entirely, To me it's either plain grip for working handheld (which I barely do and sold it) or you fit a plate and / or any bracket and keep it simple. Personally I find lens tripod collar for longer ones preferable.
