Beginner L bracket.

Hi morning all,can anyone recommend a L bracket for a canon 5d mkiii,I take mostly landscape and use a manfrotto tripod.

Sunwayfoto. For any L bracket you will need to change the head on your tripod. L brakets use a Arca Swiss clamp and not the Manfrotto quick release plate.

Manfrotto do Arca compatible heads though (I know I have one, Q6 on the end of the part no is what you are looking for)

But otherwise Elliott is right, to use an Arca L bracket you will need an Arca compatible head

With the right L-plate you could fit two quick release plates, I know some of my plates have a tripod thread on both planes. Ungainly and not making the most of the advantages an L-plate offers, but it's a possibility.

I have a genuine Kirk bl-5D3 L bracket (arca Swiss compatible) that am about to put up for sale. You are welcome to message me about if interested.

It is really good because it bolts to the bottom but also clamps around the strap holder so it is really rigid.
