Kood filters holder

Just bought a kood polariser but to get it into the filter holder got to really work it in and then when in it won't rotate as its to tight is there a next size up holder to get or are they all standard ?

is this the square 85mm P type?

i use kood but use a round CPL. the only other filter size i know about mate is the Z type 100mm. some of my kood nds where a lil tight so i ended up polishing the edge with emery cloth to help them slide.

No phil it's a circular polariser

o right ok... well i have 2 p type filter holders and one is much tighter than the other... it may be worth getting another off ebay and trying that one

Just ordered a proper cokin one as the other ones are Chinese copies I think only paid £1.50 so think that's the problem tbh

I have had a couple of cheap ones but to be honest its a bit hit and miss. hope it sorts it for you mate

Well ordering the proper holder worked just need to get plaster off my leg and get out 2 months is a long time being stuck indoors
