Koi carp -nyone know who buy's them & what they're worth??

As the title - I've got 5 koi carp (well my parents have with some of mine) & am wondering how to go bout how much they're worth & does anyone know who buy's Koi carp (Gillinghm, Kent).. As they would like to downsize 2-3 of the largest in my female Koi - they're friendly and can be fed by hand...

They're about 7years old now an where purchased from when they were about 3inches long - they are now in the region of about/almost 18 inches - mine is female (orange & white)..

So if anyone knows of anyone who buys Koi could you let me know - cheers much appreciated...

I can't help with buyers, though Koi carp clubs would be a good source of info. I do know that it's the markings that determine price and not the size.

Did google it as well - but you get some stupid answers on the pages that came up ie fish & chip shop's - I know about the markings as well (was quoted £450 for mine alone as its female about 9months ago)

Just thought that I'd broaden the horizons an ask on here as we dont all just do "photography" etc - we have a broad array of specialities...

your best bet is to nip down to your LFS as they will be able to advise, they might even have someone looking for some there the best place for knowledge on fishies
