No
I've just come across some Kodachrome 64 multi packs for sale with process paid envelopes.

However, I thought that it was now discontinued and no new processing was possible?

Has it been resurrected to anyone's knowledge?

Is it of any value or use whatsoever now?

erm I don't think anyone is processing it now, but I'm sure I've read that you can developed in B/W chemicals.

Only sentimental value I'm afraid. I think it's possible to process it as black and white but at the moment, I'm not aware of anyone that's managed to duplicate the incredibly involved process to get colour out of it.

Edit: Rocky Mountain Film Labs say they can process it as B&W for mucho dinero!

Gulp!!! Thanks guys - much appreciated.

The seller is asking £95 for a 5 roll pack with pre-paid envelopes. I wonder when it went out of date?

This is all your fault Big Yin - your Holga project has got me using film again :-)

That's a lot of money for some not particularly great B&W film, with pre-process envelopes that won't be honoured!

LOL - That's exactly what I thought - plus it went out of date in Sept 08!!!

Buyer beware

I wouldn't touch Rocky Mountain with a bargepole, the company has been in financial difficulty for a few years and apparently a lot of people have sent stuff in and never got it back and when asking just been given no answer. Apparently the owner is extremely difficult to deal with.

However Process C-22 (In the UK) as well as Film Rescue (In the USA) International can also do it.

There is one group trying to resurrect a K-14M line as the relative chemicals etc are on the patent issued to Kodak in 1978 (approxiamtely) as well as the updates to it when the formaldeyde had to be removed. Kodak may even release how to make the chemicals like they have with the E-4 process.
There are also some K-lab minilabs (an attempt by Kodak to make the film more profitable about 10 years ago by having more processing facilities, but ultimately didn't help) still around.

At least its not as complex as the original K-11 process in 1935 where you had to use dye bleaches instead of re-exposure to light which ended up giving it about 32 steps!

Still for that price its not worth it.

Many thanks s162216 - I've never come across Process C-22 before.

Off to Google now...............

Be warned that others have said they can take a little while, but then for old/obsolete films you can't expect it back instantly can you?

They have developed some stunning stuff such as some pre WWII Dufaycolour's which came out really quite well considering they were 60 years+ old. Look in the link below:

Many thanks for your help Samuel - have a virtual beer on me ;)
