When i do a close up with the lens part of the subject ends up OOF what am i doing wrong? i want the whole thing in focus is it to do with F numbers thx for any advice

Yup - spot on - you used f/7. You need to use a smaller aperture - try f/11 or higher.

Obviously at that setting, you'll get a slower shutter speed - tripod at the ready
