Looking for a kit bag for light stands and softboxes ect. Doesn't have to be a photography made bag...any suggestions?

what is the max length of your stands as some bags can be 75cm or 100cm long

Wicked ill have a look. Im seriously considering a cricket bag atm for £25 can get a huge bag, in fact i have got a big bag on wheels tbh will have to dig it out and have a look at it.
 
Hockey bag works ok for me.. about a tenner.
 
Went for a cricket bag and it is huge!! Can fit 4 light stands, backdrop suport system, 3 softboxes, 2 umbrellas, 2 background reflectors, 5 in one reflector, studio head leads, 2 extension leads on reels, 2 normal extension leads and other little bits and pieces and theres still room in it!!!
 
Get yourself a hockey bag ;)

Thanks for that Guys, apparently just checked Store Finder and there is about 4 within 5 miles of me, so will have to check out this 'bargain' store

To add a different idea...

How about a wheeled box? I use the following case for my drum rack and other hardware and they're damn near bullet proof. They're also backed by a lifetime warranty. I snapped the straps on mine and they're sending the new parts to me FOC, not even any postage. However, they're not cheap.

I got a few strange looks when I was waving a tape measure around in Sports Direct a while back looking for a bag for my lightstands. It was the only sports shop in town that had a long enough bag though.
