Sorry for the vague subject but as a beginner I am wondering where to go next with my kit. I've been doing photography as a hobby for 9 months with a canon 600 eos 18-55 kit lens and also a tameron 70-300 zoom.
I recently purchased a canon 50mm 1.4 which I love, I struggle to take it off my camera, but with a bit of spare cash in my pocket I'm wondering what is my next move.
Do I buy a better camera if so what's the ideal next step, i quite fancy upgrading my 18-55 mm but what too? Or any other options I would appreciate.

Many thanks

15-85....great lens, always used as the walk around lens.

What do you actually shoot? That'll define what kit you potentially might want next.

Animals bit of action and people mainly. Not into landscape much. Cheers

What do you want to do that you can't with the out you already have?

Do you think you've pushed your current body to its limits?

I feel the quality of the 18-55 is slightly frustrating but I am used to the pin sharp quality of my 50mm 1.4. So I am leaning towards replacing that lens but I don't know what the best buy is for around £300 quid. Maybe also something a bit longer than 55mm to give me a greater range in just one lens. Sorry for being vague I'm not up to scratch on my jargon at the moment
