Hi, im off to South Devon soon for a week, Im staying near Kingsbridge, just wondered if anyone has any recommend wildlife locations to go to while im there, not really got any specific type in mind I enjoy shooting alsorts.
Thanks in advance

Dartmoor is`nt that far from you and Kingsbridge itself is very rural it is a very beautiful part of the country, Dartmouth is just up the road and worth a visit too, there are some lovely walks along the estuary out to the coastline I`m sure you will find something worth photographing., if you want some really extreme wildlife try Union street in Plymouth on a saturday night:lol:

Nah, they all go down to the Barbican now!

I would head down to Salcombe, Hope Cove and That area. Its on the coast and you can find some really lovely coves and great wildlife and Salcombe is only 7miles from Kingsbridge.

we are going to hire a boat for the day out of Salcombe, if the good weather holds! hoping to check out the coves you cant get to walking ;-)
many thanks for the tips guys will make time to read about the recommended spots before I go.
We went to Burgh Island Salcombe Start Piont and Bantham last year, we are actually staying in a log cabin just outside Bantham, omg I love the area!

Photography aside, head to the Pigs Nose in East Prawle on Saturday night for some great live music from Nick the Fish. Awesome pub and even better music!

Oh Jump, you swine! what are you angling for!
sorry for some reason I came over all punny! lol

I've been doing some family history stuff, and in the mid-late 19th century my lot lived in Kingsbridge and shot and stuffed just about anything that was blown in over Slapton Sands.

If it was good enough for them, and the wildlife has recovered, you could do some less harmful shooting...
