Anyone used one, good the bad.

Long and short of I want a manfrotto 055xprob but the kingjoy looks very similar, is there a genuine saving there or is it going to be a false economy?
 
Never heard of Kingjoy, sounds like it's a brand of Condom.

Think I would opt for the Manfrotto, tried and trusted with service back up, my 055 was donkeys years old and still going strong
 
Link? Not all cheaper tripods are bad, though they may not be as good as an expensive one.
 
To be fair it looks quiet ok,without some one coming forward with knowledge of them it could and i repeat could be worth the risk,you should have a years warranty and so long as you dont hang too much on it.
 
I have one with similar legs to that - functionally it's completely fine, but tolerances are just a little slacker than some premium products.
 
Can't see where it was made but Dad had a cheap Chinese Manfrotto copy tripod, head and QR plate. Worked fine until the QR plate collapsed when he pushed the locking lever in tightly. Bear in mind that he was a 75 year old man not Arnie S!!!
