But you dont actually own a camera yet? So If wanted to you to do my wedding tomorrow, you'd say what?

Maybe this is a whole new style to photography. Shooting without actually shooting.

I like it. Very contemporary. :-)
 
I don't mean to sound harsh, and I am normally very friendly, but fans of what?

There is nothing there to be a fan of. You also state you are doing paid work such as weddings yet on the 18th you posted on here that you have been doing photography a week it beggars belief.

You haven't even got your camera yet, or backups.

Mr. King, I did one wedding once but I'm soon offering wedding workshops to help you develop your business. We'll go through posing, the whole 'strobist' thing, and where to point your camera and how to make people smile. Then you can take some photos of a model dressed in a bride's dress, and put it in your portfolio and pretend that it was taken at a wedding.

I charge $16,500 for a day 1 on 1 workshop.

Was going to offer something similar, I just blow smoke up peoples rectum, tell them they are a mood tiger monkey charmer, and how to change the whole concept of photography as a whole. Not done a weeding, but golf coaches dont play the masters with Tiger, so you know it balances out.

I'll therefore conclude that the OP is bored and fancied a bit of trolling, since if he were remotely sane he would not have asked that question on a forum populated mostly by professional photographers who have invested many years of hard effort in learning their craft ... need I go on.

the white background on the coming soon sign is nicely done though, good technique, very crisp and sharp also, well done.
 
Having reread his initial post, where he states he has a 550d + 2 lenses, then his very next thread less than 20 mins later is asking for advice on purchasing a camera I am pretty certain he's just taking the pee. :)

This is obviously a genuine case of a forward thinking individual looking for help and encouragement from like minded enthusiasts

Shame on you all I know who not to ask to be my friends:nono:

ps lend us a few grand to buy that 600mm Canon so I can get into sports photography, or wildlife, or stargazing or navel gazing or navel fluff:love::love:
