Kindle 3g

Hi all,

looking to treat myself with a kindle.

What content can i get for free with the 3g - rss feeds, newspapers, instapaper?

noticed the standard kindle has wifi - presumably i can tether to my phone for the same connectivity?

There are a lot of free and very cheap books available from Amazon - some good, some less so. I doubt that mainstream newspapers are free, but I believe there are free trails available.

You can sign up for a "daily deal" email from Amazon that offers a book at a heavily discounted price.

I've not tried tethering to a phone, but the Kindle will connect to any 3G hotspot, so it should work ok.

Right, got the kindle setup, and it wont connect to the mobile hotspot created on my android. I half remember reading about this somewhere, and also how to fix, but cant find anything on google.
Any ideas?

When i attempt to connect the kindle touch to the phone, it sees the wireless network, attempts to connect, but fails with an error message

Wifi Error

Your Kindle is unable to connect to the WiFi network "--------". Press Set Up to enter your password again or manually set up your network

Any ideas?
