Kilt hire - Manchester or thereabouts

Hi all,

OK, so this has a slight photography connection. I'm off to Scotland for a week at the end of September and will be the photographer at a friends wedding while I'm there. The boys are all going to be in the traditional kilts/highland dress getup and while I'm the photographer, I'm also a guest and will be joining in.

Can anyone recommend a good place to hire highland wear from around Manchester or thereabouts? Don't need any special requirements, just the standard Prince Charlie or Argyll setup.

There's a Tuxedo and wedding hire place over the road from the town hall, can't remember the name of it though.
 
You could try Novaks just outside Rawtenstall - bit out of manchester, but if you're struggling ...

How about hiring one from where you are going? Can't turn the corner up here in the Highlands without coming across a kilt hire shop. Where is the wedding?
 
You can hire highland dress in most towns and cities in Scotland. This would probably be the easiest option, unless you have to take it with you because you're arriving when the shops aren't open and need it straight away?
 
Thanks for the Scottish option, hadn't thought of that. The wedding's at a country house on the Mull of Kintyre, so quite a bit out of the way. But we arrive a few days beforehand so that might be an option.
