I need something like a smaller-scale Action Man or Barbie figure to use as the driver of a model boat. Can be male or female but needs to be adult and "normal human" - looking, and in the height range 6-9" ( ideally around 8"). Must be poseable.

Any ideas what I should be searching for on Ebay? :)
 
I would say most figures are within that size. Barbie and action man are particularly big.
 
Barbie's sister Skipper is 8.5"
 
My wee boy has numerous Scooby do figures who are around that size or maybe smaller. Take your pick Fred, Velma, Shaggy or Daphne unless they're too cartoony for what you need. Also quite a few of the star wars guys are normal looking now.
 
Eminem figures are 8"
