Yes
I am driving here at the end of February and will have some hours to kill - any good places for wildlife?

Yes I have changed the title.
I hadn’t heard of another but didn’t want to assume.
There is lots of heathland around Kesgrave so birdlife is good. The river Deben nearby could also provide a good hunting ground (inappropriate pun!).
There’s also a ‘Millstream Nature Reserve’ but I’ve not visited that.

Thank for that - any particular sites that I can put into my satnav?

Perhaps this will help

If you go to the 'map view' of their reserves there are a couple to the east of Kesgrave.

I hope you enjoy the opportunities to be in nature and see what Suffolk has to offer:)

Depending what you like to shoot if the tide conditions work there's an easy riverside walk from the Tide Mill at Woodbridge (very close to the railway station, with plenty of car parking). The birds are used to people in the area

Thanks for that - is the parking expensive? Also what sort of birds?
