Kerso asking £199 for Canon 18-55Is kit lens. Is this a joke?

I just got a eBay mailshot and noticed Flash Camera are asking £199 + £10 delivery for the standard canon kit lens, and this is a white box version, not even full retail.

Surely this cant be right can it? Have prices risen that much recently?

Ive used Ian in the past and his prices have always been very good, but not this time.

its probably a mistype for the 18-135 is - which is about 200 notes

Quite a few will also bump the price up when out of stock. It stops people ordering and being disappointed.

No, I wasn't looking for the lens, i just noticed it in a eBay mail shot that I got, and having used Ian a few times thought it a bit strange.

I strongly suspect a mistake has been made as mentioned by others, I've seen many pricing cock ups caused by listing software going awry

Oh i agree, it's not his style, but the item is listed at that price and anyone clicking on it would, I assume pay that price.
