I have just got 2x in the post this morning but I am very disappointed! Using it inbetween my D50 and Sigma 70-200 f2.8 it can't seem to AF, it just continually hunts, even in great sunshine outside. MF it is fine. Is this normal or have I got a problem?

I'd say you have a problem...... try lightly cleaning the contacts on both ends of the converter...... :shrug:

I'd say it's bust then! That combination should work.... unless anybody knows differently......

Silly question, does the lens still focus ok without the converter?

Yeah the AF on my sigma is fantastic

my kenko 300dg 2x auto focus's superbly with my d70 and my nikkor 80-200 f2.8....is there a limiter on the sigma lens like the nikon?
