I know it's a tired topic, but I came across a link to something he wrote whie researching something else. It's a Nikon vs. Canon article.

Nikon had been making military instruments for mass destruction long before World War II. Nikon made bomb sights used to murder innocent Americans in the Japanese terrorist attacks on Pearl Harbor in 1941, as well as huge rangefinders for battleship and field artillery in World War II.

So no bias there then.

Anyone would think Canon weren't Japanese either.

I just found that amusing.

Classic. So he's backing the 'Nazi's' with his choice of car. BMW didn't aim the guns, they carried the guns to 'kill innocent Americans'.

I don't normally visit his site on principle. I think his site can cause a lot of people new to photography problems, as they don't realise that some of whatt he throws out is rubbish, and meant to generate site traffic. They don't read the bit that says

It is a work of fiction, entirely the product of my own imagination.

He is great and getting hits to his website though, as the post highlighted by Pookeyhead shows.

Check out his sprogs obviously photoshopped head in the 'About me' section.


And yes, I am aware of the irony of posting in a thread about him.

The man is a genius, people literally can't stop talking about him (and linking to his site) as proved by this very thread. His website should be a case study in how an individual runs a money making site without actually selling anything directly.

I think this must be the first time anyone's ever accused Ken of being biased against Nikon.

Personally I like the chap. He has a positive outlook on life, loves his family, and knows just how much of his personal life to put online. He's possibly the most enigmatic, self whoring trolls out there, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.
