I think he even said on his site take what he writes with a good pinch of salt. The more he trolls the more hits he gets and the more people might click his Adorama links etc. His Leica Man page is good for a laugh.

I've always considered Ken's 'pinch of salt' comment to be akin to saying 'I did that on purpose' after making a cock-up.

I can only speak for the people I work with at the major international photo agencies and no-one gives a monkey's who Ken Rockwell is.

I suspect internet Ken Rockwell and real life Ken Rockwell are rather different. There's the occassional inconsistancy on his website which suggests he still does do real work of some nature, and he doesn't live on donations and ad-clicks alone.
