Looked it up on Youtube after reading this thread, amazing car control.

Just because lots of people can do it doesn't make it boring IMHO . Personally I think the film and filming is pretty cool, if somewhat on the 'gritty' side.

What an experience this must have been for Mr Block. Just shows how good his PR team are!

It's a shame he only took :2nd: at the X games even though he had a puncture but you are right, WRC has been a step too much for him.

The skill to drive that controlled is impressive. As for the WRC or motorsport in general the best and most reliable car usually wins.

I think his videos are pretty cool! Like you said, maybe anyone COULD do it, but he DOES. The videos are quite different too, if I remember correctly there was a dinosaur in one! Donuts around velociraptors are cool! Or I'm very easily amused

Couldn't cut in world rally championship though :-D

except when you keep crashing out

Anyone can crash out though, rallying is a test of endurance. Put him or any driver in Loeb's Citroen for a while and see how they do. He's a good driver and markets himself well, plus he's worth about £100 million+ so I doubt he's worrying too much about the WRC.

I'm not keen on these Red Bullock display "sports". More subwoofer than substance, I'd rather watch a proper rally without the tat.

I may be missing the point, it wouldn't be the first time nor the last, but surely putting a driver who crashed his Ford on a regularly basis into any other car would result in more or less the same amount of crashes????

would be more impressed if he did it from start to finish in one shot, thats why he doesnt do very well in WRC

I'd love to know also how many engines/head gaskets he goes through by the time he's done ....

To be fair, most WRC drivers have driven the stages many times in the past, Ken hasn't. They have more experience and a better idea of how to take the bends and speeds. All WRC drivers crash from time to time, even Loeb.
I'd like to see him give Rallycross a good go it would probably be alot more suited to his driving style. Tanner Foust is currently performing very well in the European Rallycross. Good to watch Gronholm giving rallycross a go too.

Amazing driving, i love the project gymkhana stuff, so entertaining to watch

]not quite skidding a car around a thimble, but twice as bonkers....

I don't see you doing much in the wrc either!

Anyway who really cares if people don't like it, don't flipping watch it and bring all your negativity in threads here. It's happening far too much on this site.

If you don't like it don't comment on it.

Good for ken block, I think he has done pretty well for himself and certainly entertains a lot of people when he clearly doesn't need to.

Cause he is not as good a rally driver as the people in front of him.
