Critique required Kell's 52 for 25 - Week 51 and 52.

Nicely framed and timed, never been there but very impressive entrance
 
Week 30 - Body Parts

Had an idea to go for any pub with ARMS or HEAD in its name.

There's a couple near me and I thought one would be better than the other and it turned out the other way around I think.

The first is the Kings Arms on Roupell Street. If you've not heard of Roupell St, it's an amazing row of Georgian railway workers cottages (that are now around £1.5 million each). Pretty much untouched by wars or development.

It was OK, first Thrursday near pay day is always going to be busy:

The next was the Founders Arms on the South Bank. I was just trying a few things out when this guy wearing a vest top ran through my shot and I wondered if i could get something better with the word arms and someone with their arms out,

Week 31 - Contrast

On Roupell Street again. There's a guy that owns a load of old Citroens (Traction Avant, couple of old DS, DS Safari, SM, BX and CX) and they're always parked on this street. See HERE

I thought one of those CONTRASTED with modern cars might be interesting. Plus it would allow me to get an old tech of Panorama in.

But as I walked to the tube, I spotted this shot over the old, low-level (and at one time affordable) housing contrasted with the high rise luxury flats going up in the background. Torn between colour and black and white TBH.

But in the end, I thought the yellow colour of the old London bricks against that blue glass you always get with modern buildings added an extra layer of contrast.

Body Part - Great thinking!

Contrast - very effective (much more so in colour).

Gonna differ, I really like the mono versions especially the first. Always been a sucker for nicely processed high contrast monochromes.
 
Think you picked the best of a good set Kell, last B&W pic the aerials look bigger than the crane. Living out in the sticks you don’t see pubs that busy around here, more likely to see a for sale sign up.
 
Definitely the colour shot...you chose the right one Kell.

Ah yes we have the same trouble when we are packing too. They probably think they're helping! Great picture and the expression says "What?!"

Yikes! That sounds a bit much for me. I remember (or not depending on how much we had) in my youth in the States getting 40oz malt liquor which was around 8% and that was borderline undrinkable.
 
Like the ICM shot, only crit would be the head and highlights. Great idea Bee sting but 6.8%

I consider 6.8% a session brew :D

Week 36 - Hands.

Arguably the most famous hands in the world.

(Little bit of luck with this - half of them had my face in as I was carrying my camera upside down and pressing the shutter when I felt like I was roughly under it. Lots of rotating and straightening in LR.)

I know it says 'No Photography' in the Sistene Chapel, but when in Rome...

Two good images. As a fan of strong contrasty B&W, your Modena shot is my fave.
 
As a fan of all Italian motoring associated things, I applaud your photo ! Good picture too.
