Critique required Kell's 52 for 25 - Week 51 and 52.

I think you chose the right one. Good to see it in action.
Thanks Paul - I think I quite liked some of the skater images as the Graffiti almost became incidental, but preferred being able to get someone actually painting.

A good set of graffiti you have taken, Kell. I think you have picked the best with the artist still at work.

Thanks Stan - I think it does add something, and Leake Street changes pretty much daily, if not hourly, so there's almost always someone there working.

Love both of those spots. Though Leake St tends to have a greater Art : Tag ratio.
From an Art perspective I really like Leake St #2
But from a photography perspective, yes perhaps #3, because or (a) the action caught and (b) I'm liking the bright spots.

Thanks Tim. Like your 'many layers of paint' shot, I wonder how much narrower that tunnel is now with all those layers of paint on it.

Nice and colourful - and the chosen one is the more fitting.

All good examples, I agree the last one is the better picture

The last one is the best of a good series Kell. Puts things nicely into context.

Good set, like #2 and 3 viewing from the dark into the lit area with graffiti, lots of choice but agree with your choice.

Thank you both.

The weird/sad/great thing about Leake Street in particular is that if you went today hardly any of the stuff that I saw would still be there.

I was chatting to one of the guys and he was saying that sometimes stuff lasts less than a day before being painted over.

Your picked shot is my favourite by a long way. Really nice to see the act being done in addition to the finished article.

Week 04 - Morning Light.

Needs a bit of back story.

We bought our daughter a disco ball for Christmas, but she went back to Uni and left it at our house. It's in a spot by the fireplace that as soon as the sun comes round the trees, it hits it and covers the house in little squares of light.

Quite liked going in close and being a bit more abstract.

Clever :)

What a superb Effect, fantastic to get up to that every sunny morning.

Love the black and white shot.

A nice alternative take on the theme and very effective. Nice one.

Love, love, love your graffiti set Kell, I would have had a real problem choosing between them.

And what a great idea for your morning light choice.

Week 05 - Snapper's Choice

I've been deliberately walking along the Thames by our new office at night to try and get some nice pics of London lit up. Again, using my Sony A7i and Minolta Manual Lenses - in this case a combo of the Minolta 24-35/3.5 and the Minolta 35-70/3.5.

Liked this pano.

A really nice set, and a great project (I look forward to more). I think you chose the strongest one, but the Blackfriars Bridge is very good too.

Thanks Paul - I've started a personal thread with some shots from in and around the offices. That's HERE if you're at all interested.

Love the first image and I actually sold one very similar :) Great shot

Interesting. Thanks for the comment.
