Sad news, that "Cheggers" has passed away, aged only 60

Met him as a teenager when they did Swap Shop from Bass's Rec in Derby. He was so good, so tolerating and interactive with the crowd. Sad to hear of his death.

He never became part of my conciousness. But there seem to be rather a lot of celebrity deats at the moment.

My ex wife was a model back in the day and used to do a bit of escorting stars when they made promotional appearances.

She spent one weekend with the Cheggars entourage in the Ross on Wye area. I went down too (to make sure she behaved herself) cos it's not too far away.

He had a TR7 back then that was driven by a hireling while he sat on the dropped roof with his arms round two 'beauties'. She said he was a lovely, courteous lad and tbh I found him the same too when I spoke to him during quiet times.

RIP Keith. Glad I/we got to know you.
