Kefalonia

Argh poop, I forgot about this completely. Will dig out the photos tonight. One of the girls I work with comes from Kefalonia too so might ask her if there's any hidden gems off the tourist track

Dave, go & enjoy it. As you know a major part of the island was destroyed by an earthquake in the 50s so there are probably ruins etc to look at but go in the early morning/ late afternoon as it will be so hot.

I am so jealous- have a fab time & take your circular polariser!

Thanks John, yes I did know about the earthquake devastated the island

I bought a circular polarise especially for when I went. As the plane landed, I said to Sue "You know that circular polariser that was on my desk?.....................it still is!!!"

Have a fantastic time and I'm looking forward to seeing the pics.

Thanks Marc Ive packed mine now so I dont forget it
