Karl Taylor Photography

Think I wasted my time posting the thread.....Never mind.

Ordered a set of 4 dvds.

I've watched his stuff and found it really useful. As soon as funds allow I'm doing the 4 DVD course with the certification. I know it's not nationally recognised but its the sense of satisfaction and and all the learning that's made want to do it.
I would rather learn from a pro that's making it big time, than some college/uni teacher that ain't shot a portraits/wedding/event in years.

I was going to order that set, but decided not to. I can't really afford it at the moment, because I've been on sick leave from work and I'm only working mornings :(

Hope buying his dvds will give me some more knowledge and make me want to get out of the house with my camera more!!!

Never heard of him until now.
Pretty sure everything in the DVDs could be found for free on the internet.

They're very good.

Look up: Mike Browne Photography on YouTube as well, he too is very good at teaching and has his very own DVD which is very good.

Personally I've got Mike Browne's DVD and Karl Taylor's, and I personally prefer Mike Browne's because I find he has a very good clear teaching style.
Also when I was watching the first DVD from Karl Taylor, he sort of refers to his other DVD's which I disliked because I sort of thought you needed to buy more etc etc. But all in all, he is very good.

Have a look on YouTube :).

Hope it helps!
