Does anyone own one of these and what is your opinion of it?
Thanks,

Yep Ive got one, Use it mainly for car rinsing/blasting. Have used it with the patio cleaner thing on and seemed to do a good job on paving slabs, blasted all the algea stuff off. Another make worth looking at is Nilfisk.Does anyone own one of these and what is your opinion of it?

Yes, I now think the K4 is the way to go.
Intriguing. Did you always unplug the hose, spray out the last of the water in the system, then unplug and switch off machine after use? Wonder if maybe ice formed on water left inside and caused it.I have a K2, just over two years old and not had much use at all.
While it worked, it was pretty good, fine for cleaning the car and patio, though the standard hose is very short.
But I came to use it a couple of weeks back having been sat in the shed unused for the last ~10 months and it seems to have developed a crack somewhere. When you turn it on ir prays water out of the outer case around the switch. Not had a chance yet to strip it down but there seems to be plenty of videos on youtube showing similar problems.
After such little usage it certainly doesn't inspire me to replace it with one of their more expensive models in the range. Where as my dad's 15 year old stihl is still going strong.
Bought a K2 from Halfords this morning. Took it home, took it out of the box and put it straight back in. Changed it for the K4 Compact. The K2 seemed very flimsy compared to my old 2.19 and I know it wouldn't stand up to the sort of use I would give it.

same here, a load of s***, bought three in past and not one lasted two years.I'm not a fan of Karcher. I gave up with them and bought a Nilfisk.
Yep I have one. To be honest if your just using it for car cleaning it's fine but for jobs such as patio/decking cleaning etc it could be more powerful. It will do the job but will take more time. I don't often use ours but think if I used it more I'd want something more powerful.
Hope that helps a bit!
