I just love my D3s but knowing me yes I will get one, not sure how long after November 23rd they will arrive in Malaysia but when they do I am sure I will get one.
I am away to google it and see if there are any heads up on spec's etc etc
 
I'm fascinated to know what the new spec will be. I'm assuming its going to be mostly in the video area. Personally even if I had the money there really nothing that would make me upgrade from my D3s's.
If they increase the ISO sensitivity I'll be shooting in the dark, more MP, I'd get a D3x, better AF? how can it get any better?.
Seriously, what are they going to improve on?

Scratch that, "late November" now appears to be early 2012 if some places are to be believed.

well i little more res like 16meg with the same iso handling, even better af with more points and better metering system of the d7000,
as for video its a nice feature but not that important to me.

Have you seen the two photos on Nikonrumours? The first shows a factory with a car park, the second shows a concrete island, half submerged in a lake. I don't think we'll be seeing anything new from Nikon for a while yet.
 
The iso capabilities of the d3x are poor so i think that it will be a d3x with the iso handling of the D3S but i hope that they put on the spinny wheel thing from the canons as i think that is ace...!

More germaine to the D3s/D4 etc are the pics of Sony's submerged sensor production facility.....
 
better AF? how can it get any better?

-I would like to see the AF focus points spread wider in the frame rather than all bunched in the middle.

-I have a D3X and rent D3's for particular jobs - so i'm desperate for the D4 to be high enough megapixel for me to not miss the D3X too much but with the awesome iso capabilities of the D3S...

I'd agree with that :) I still can't get used to the buttons and dials everywhere on the Noink but the performance makes up for it :)
