I have been looking on the site for a while now so thought it was time to introduce myself. I am now retired but have only just bought myself a DSLR after many years of using various digital cameras and prior to that 35mm format. I have to say what a great site it is and from it I discovered Red Snapper and having just received one of their RS324 Tripods with the RSH-12 ball head I have to say what a superb bit of kit it is. Whilst the weight may be too much for some it is ideal for what I want especially as I do long stay angling sessions in all sorts of weather conditions and spend a lot of time photographing whatever is around at the time.
I am by no means an expert, I just like taking pictures and I am sure that I can learn a lot from the site.
