Well, what can i say. Hello i guess.
I'm very new to photography as i don't think holiday snap shots on auto focus counts but i'm very keen to get going and looking into course on wedding photography. Biggest step for me is chosing a camera. Can anyone recommend a good quality DSLR that doesn't cost over £2000!

Hello :)

How much have you allowed for the lenses?

;)

Just browse around here for a while. You will find plenty of ways to spend your money :)

Hi and welcome

Plenty of people here that can help you spend money :p

To be honest i haven't really come up with a budget a such yet. The prob i have is i have very little money but equally i don't want to get to basic a camera and then need to upgrade in a few months. I so far have little knowledge and experience but i intend to put all my time into learning quickly. I'm sitting with sacks of books in front of me and am looking at doing a course next month in wedding photography. I don't know if i'll ever make it as a pro but i definitly need a descent camera if i'm going to do weddings. I've been looking at the new Nikon D300 and that seem mid range. I know i need to leave myself enough for good lens but i'm not entirly sure how i know there good glass. Is it just in the make?
