Bit the bullet on my wedding lens kit and was looking at a 35mm, I have already a 50mm 1.8 and a 85mm 1.8 so a 35mm prime would have sat nicely in the collection.
It was a choice between a Sigma 35mm 1.4 or a Nikkor 35mm 1.8.....so went with the Sigma.
Anyone used this lens before, have I made a good choice?

Why do you ask AFTER deciding to buy it? What happens if people say no, you haven't made a good choice?

Fortunately it is an excellent lens. The only potential drawbacks I would suggest are firstly that it's big and heavy, and secondly that the autofocus isn't quite as snappy (and may not be as reliably accurate) as the OEM lenses. But the optics and build quality are superb.

Cracking lens. If you’ve not had to calibrate a lens before this may give you some experience though.

ahhhh...good question, it was 50/50 in choice and had only seen a hand full of reviews on the sigma lens. I think sometimes its swayed by personal preference.
