Just purchased a new Point And Shoot...

due to my missus thinking my 40D is a bit too big for 'normal' do's..

went for the Canon Ixus 100... refurbed on EBay for 100 notes.

Good choice or waste of cash?

Ive got a canon 5d and my point and shoot is an ixus, its a good little camera

thanks Sharon... she's hoping it will stop the 'oh my goodness me, he must be an official photographer' looks when I get the camera out...

I bought an IXUS 40 to have when I can't be bothered taking the SLR out, always a good thing to have a point and shoot handy.

I've got an Ixus 60, just love it as my always keep in the pocketer Good choice I reckon

Ixus are great little ones - my mum has the ixus 60. I've moved over from an ixus 40 now to Coolpix S3 - seems more appropriate given I shoot with Nikon DSLRs.
