Hello everyone,
I'm a very lost keen visual artist. Been a graphics gal for a very long time with a tonne of PShopping to boot, the last 3 years I have shot several alternative style portraits, two weddings and an event.
Got some nice gear, experience, but worried as I have no formal training!

Maybe someone has a few suggestions for me. I'm looking at the Open College of Arts Photographic course, though I've put off starting a course due to family commitments.

*EDIT - Sorry I know there's tonnes of threads about which courses to take, I'm looking now.
Be great to see what comes up in conversation here :)

Thank you for the welcome. I have spent hours on here tonight and have really relished all that I have read so far. Really glad to be here :D

Hello again, yes I'm really glad this forum exists. I can only class myself as an artist working mostly in photography now. I've decided to take advantage of Mark Clegorn's tutorials mostly, although I read PhotoTuts+, Michael Freeman and as many blogs my family time will allow!
My dream is to have a working gallery alá Christian Fletcher, but that depends on so many factors.
