Yay, I'll be posting some images for you guys to see as soon as I get home!!

It's so light and sharp... lovin' it

I look forward to seeing some images, I wouldn't mind having this lens.

I love this lens, went I went all Canon-y for a bit, I was trying to find one for that too!

Love this lens on my D700 :)

I got mine a few weeks ago for £169 from ffordes;). Absolute bargain and loving it, great colours and nice and sharp.

Sorry for taking so long to post some images - I haven't really had a chance to use it much :p

And yea, I know she looks like she is in moocho pain, but I had to do it :p

I'm really impressed with the sharpness of the images though - at 100% they look fantastic!

All three of those look a little soft to me?

Well, the original RAW images are very sharp at 100% - I'm not quite sure how people make the exported JPGs look just as sharp after it gets reduced in size and quality.

Here are the images again, but retaining the sharpness that it had at 100% at full size.

That's better. What different processing did you do (apart from B&W)?

I`ve got this lens, great bit of kit. It was the first upgrade from the kit that I bought.

Well, the second time I used Lightroom instead of Aperture, and just used the sharpen on export feature that LR has, which adjusts the sharpness to the new size.

Er, what are you doing to her

Nice shots.
Seems like a nice lens

I just sold the 17-50mm F2.8.
Loved it. Would have either any day........
