Got my memory upgraded to 4gb RAM
But when I checked the system info, it says 2.87 useable, what does that mean?
Thanks for any info
It means you're running 32bit Windows which can't address more memory than that. To use more memory you need a 64bit operating system.
Going to depend on the motherboard. I think if you are sharing memory with the graphics card, it has to come out of the visible 3.x G....That was my initial thought but I think it addresses 3.odd Gb![]()
