Just Dave

Oh wow! what a shock!
Been out with Dave a few times, I knew he had health problems, but what a nice guy!
My condolences go to Julie and his family.
I for one will miss him, as I am sure a lot of others will.

I didn't know Dave personally, we had never met, but we certainly shared a few laughs and discussions on the open forum, from time to time.

Yes it was. He was on several forums and well liked on them all. Hadn't seen him for some time, but they had bought a lovely motor home and I presumed they were just off on another jaunt.

This is incredibly sad news. I met Dave on a couple of occasions at meets. He was a lovely chap. I always remember him helping others on here.
I've just looked at his 'Areas' on his profile and his most posts are in the Welcome Forum, that says it all.
I've put a notice up on the forum to let others know so they can offer their own thoughts and memories of Dave.

My thoughts go to his family and close friends.
 
Very sad news, Dave was a great bloke and made me very welcome when I first joined as well as giving me a lot of great advice.
 
I too never met him, but knew him as a member here and he did indeed come across as one of the good guys.
I hope he didn't suffer, and condolences to his family.

As others have said, sad news.. I'm sure Dave has been here longer than myself, and that seems like a long time... Didn't know him personally, but it's sad to hear of another long termer passing. RIP Just Dave....
