My first camera in the late 80s was a Praktica, can't remember the model now. But I loved it, and had a darkroom at home and developed and printed all my own B&W photos. I then moved on to the "modern" Canon EOS 600, then EOS 100. I loved the EOS 100 back in the 90s paired with my 100mm F2 lens. I almost just bought another one, but changed my mind.

I now use Sony A6400 and I do enjoy it, but after too much wine over Christmas I just ordered a Pentax ME Super, and some HP5+ to have a play around with film again. I miss it, but not sure why. I'm quite excited to be honest by buying some antiquated obsolete camera gear. Just wanted to share with people that might understand my madness.
 
The Pentax may be veteran and analogue, but neither antiquated nor obsolete - they are great cameras and you'll bet a lot of fun out of it.
 
I shoot a bit of everything - A7Riii/35GM plus other lenses (FF), X100f (apsc), Yashica Mat 124G (120), Yashica FX3 (35mm)

Can I put them in order of enjoyment/pleasure/excitement to use.....?

Well....

The Yashica Mat 124g is the most enjoyable and fun to use - for slow paced things obviously.
I don't tend to use 35mm as much lately for general shooting - but I do enjoy going to an event with it and doing a roll (ie Pride march, Car show, festival, etc)
The X100f probably gets the most clicks now - I've certainly shared a lot of photos with it this year but it is my carry around and street photography camera.
The Sony kit I do enjoy using. But it does tend to be more for special days out/locations/landscapes/etc I certainly wouldn't have went to Snowdonia without it!!

So yeah, you should be very much excited about using it - both of my film cameras are 1980's (I think....)

I do like a "modern" EOS. I bought a 1000 (FN?) in November. It came with the standard kit lens plus a 80-200mm Canon zoom, Speed lite flash, filters and lens hood in an aluminium flight case. All for £23 so there are still SLR bargains out there if you avoid whatever is considered in fashion.

Can be used in auto everything (point and shoot) to fully manual with multiple modes in between. I'm just running my first film through it over Xmas. I do have an EF 50mm and that will get some nice images but I've found the kit lenses to be more than acceptable.

Yes they are electronic and may fail in time but the consumer grade bodies are plentiful and available from a fiver. I keep eyeing up the professional EOS models but have resisted so far.
