Just booked a Photography course!

saw a degree course offered the other day home study for about £350 quid.

I'm really looking forward to it, i'll probably move onto Level 2 and so on once ive finnished it. Level 1 sounds really basic but i'll start from the bottom and work my way up!

To be honest I found the course very disappointing and that you go on to cover it again in year 2 for considerably more money, if you know the basics go straight to level 2. I wish I had.
 
Done this course aswell. Like Scott said if you know the basics go straight to level 2.
Wish I had too.
 
Yes im just going through level 2 at the moment and its just repeating level 1.
Its a 33 week course and so far the first 5/6 are the same as last years as some people were not on the first course and need to learn the basics.

Level 2 works out to about 450 with the C&G registration so its not cheap. And as I said so far its dissapointing, lets just hope it improves once the others catch up.
 
On a side note Jim Bob, if you already booked it, then go for it. Its goes back over all the basics and even if you know your stuff I doubt you will walk away without picking something new up.

Then you will just be bored on the second course for a while, I'm just messing around in the college darkroom for now and will use the time to develop a few shots until they have caught up. So not all bad :)

Can you remember which one or where i could get more info please? I'm looking into doing a home study course but can't find anything cheaper then £500 and that's diploma level!:thinking:
