Hi

I have just been given a canon EOS 100 that is in pristine condition, apparently it has had less than 10 rolls of film through it!

I have a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM Lens and a Tamron SP AF 28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical which I think will work okay on the camera.

Anyone have any general tips before I rush out and buy some film?

Thanks

Russell

the EF lens should be backwards compatible
the Tamron, I'm not sure. it will be tested on digital cameras primarily I think.
it should be compatible but I would do some reading first.

The lenses should both work without a problem

Other tips? get some batteries and film and get shooting

Poundland or the likes do film for, well, a pound. Not great film, but its an avenue if you dont want to buy expensive film for the first roll.

Yes, I got some yesterday and a battery so if the weather is okay will get out this Sunday. Will practice with a couple of rolls of the cheap stuff before moving onto the more expensive film.
