Just been asked to be an official photographer for fireworks display

I've been asked to be an official photographer for a fireworks display, after last years photos where used on the Chorley Duxbury Bonfire Display website and advertising, no pay though as its a charity, but their going to feed and water me, I will be covering the building of the bonfire,during the day, and then the display at night, A couple of shots from last year Click for larger images

You'll probably get decent access too and not have to stand with all the crowds...

I actually got asked to cover an event earlier this year, but the weather ruined it all - rain, low cloud, and to top it off they moved the fireworks much further away because of the wind... No usefull shots at all... :razz:

I hope you have more luck.

Last years the official tog didn't get any decent shots of the actual display because of all the smoke He should have stood with Me, John (Eosjohn) and Mark (Whiteflier)

Should be really good, Get some close-ups of the actual fireworks and launch area,tubes and stuff, during the day when they prime them,

Also put member Mark in touch with the organiser as that's were we met last year, hopefully we can work together should be good fun
