Also just checked it over, all seems fine including the lens (which is changeable). Got some filters for it as well, absolutely chuffed :D

Just whilst im thinking. I KNOW I KNOW you can develop your own films (and I have in the past at college) but at the moment I'm just looking for a high street shop to do it for me.

Now I live in Suffolk (Mildenhall to be precise) and was wondering does any one know of good places to send it off?

Cheers

Cheers for the help TBY :)

Can't wait to get out and start taking some shots with it :D

Or Tescos for mucho cheapness! Not sure if the Mildenhall branch does developing though.

If it does you can get the film developed and scanned onto CD for £1.96 then check the negatives at home and get the photos developed that you want.

Hey does anyone know if i can buy other lenses for this? if so which ones?

Cheers

Cheers :) What would I actually be looking for fitment wise? Ebay is FULL of used lenses lol

Sorry; I meant the lenses will be dedicated to the Super Paxatte; no other lens will fit ( usually RF lens dont fit different makes, the only major exception being the Russian L39 lens which fit Leica cameras). So you have to look for Super Paxatte lens; and finding them will be hard.

Fair enough :) Going to have some fun with this either way, and then perhaps in near future hunt out another 35mm camera with more expandability :)

:D I have just heard from the person I got it from that she believes it may have issues with letting light in hence it being unused for so long :(

Guess I'll just get some film still and have a go :)

well...thats not very good. The light can come from the front ( leaking shutter). Not cheap to fix. Usually, if the light leak is contained in the image area and not spill onto the borders.

Leak from the back. Have a good look, and if the sealing is loose, you can try putting some black tape over the back once you have loaded the film; or a light trap material inside. High chance that will fix it. Usually light leak from the back spills over to the border area .

Ujjwal

P.S : BTW, this is a leaf shutter, isnt it?

good question? :p I think so yes :)
