Iceland 2010

I've been pondering this for a few weeks now, and after seeing more and more comments about folks wanting to go to see iceland, is it worth trying to get some sort of trip/break in 2010???

I know there are a few people who've been before, and might like to return, me personally have been twice and there's still soooo much to see, and there's the guys and gals who'd like to experience it for the first time.

So that's it in a nutshell......bearing in mind this is only a "barebones" idea would it be worth persuing???

the mrs was there this afternoon, some cracking half price offers too,.............. lol

i went to the one in my local town centre, its worth a visit as there are some brilliant offers as donky7 says. just be quick as you never know it might not be there in 2010 with the reccession and all that.

EDIT: just realised lol

Just canvassing opinions and numbers really, will look a bit more in to it if there's enough initial interest.

I'll be over for 2-3 months next summer, and a month on new years, so if there's a meetup around those time I'll definately come!

An idea if it happens, renting some 4x4s and doing some exploring, camping at different places, etc which is the best way to see Iceland and would be bloody good fun!:D

Was kind of hoping for the summer months, as whilst winter is great, you really do need some good clothing for exploring in the wastelands!!

I'd be in for that - like everyone else, depends on how much it costs...
