Junior football squad photo

Hi folks, quick question for you.......my lad plays for an under 13s football team and his manager is leaving at the end of this season.
I'd like to take a photo of the squad before tomorrow's match and have it made into and acrylic block or something for him, just as a keepsake and a way of saying thank you.

Question is.......the background sky can often look blown behind the team, would it be best to use a polarising filter to try to reduce this?

How do you mean blown? do you mean over-exposed?

Yes I suppose I do? I'm flapping a bit now as I'll only get one chance to get it right before kick off :-/

Bracket your shots, set camera to do it automatically, 3 or 5 shots shouldn't take more than a couple of seconds
