For Nikon users how much sharpening do you usually apply in camera for JPEGs?

Also, when shooting RAW am I right in thinking it sets sharpening to 0 regardless of what value you have? Been having a read and trying to find out what shooting in RAW does to setting I have applied for the following:

Active D
Picture control
Vignetting reduction in camera
Noise reduction

All my Nikon cameras are set to '0' sharpening in camera, as I only sharper the bits that require it during Photoshop processing.

RAW doesnt take notice of any of those, unless you use Nikon owns software, where you can apply them afterwards. The RAW file is just that, raw, no settings, just the pure image data.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am currently using D3s and experimenting with RAW, I tend to shoot JPEG and get pretty decent results.

i set my sharpening to auto with my 18-200 kit lens and get decent results.
but with my new sigma 10-20 lens it seems a little soft so will sharpen in pp.
i am going to try setting to 0 and see what is the sharpest apperture with the sigma and stick with that.
i guess it all depends what lens you are using i want my images reasonably sharp before pp has i beleive you cant improve somthing thats not there to start with.

I have a D90 I really am a beginer appreciate any tips please
