jpeg help

Can anyone help. I've been emailed a jpeg of a voucher but when I try to view it or download it, I get the favourite red cross. I emailed them back and said I can't get it so they've emailed me back with a word document with the jpeg pasted in and guess what, it's a red cross

How can I view this? Mum's asked for it to be emailed to me today as it's a present for ym Dad and she can't have it sent to his email. I need to take it round there in a bit

if you right click it and click properties, what do you get? Are you sure you there's downloading of images enabled in your e-mail client?

If I see red crosses in this forum I right click and choose 'show picture' and it usually opens (I'm using Windows XP). Don't know if it will work for you but worth a try.

looks like it's sitting on her pc and yours can't see it (spooky that!)

Have emailed them back and said still getting a red cross

The weird thing is, I can see it in my email but when I try to download or even view it to print it off, it comes up as a red cross......

It's the actual photographer sending it to me, I've just had a reply back to say to temporarily turn off my AV......

Right - sorted, they have just emailed it to me in a pdf and it works

I've just converted it to bmp and emailed it to you
try that for size!


oops email failed as the attachment was too big,
